John Stewart sits with Cecile Richards

Cecile Richards is the president of planned parenthood. On a recent episode of “The Daily Show” she was featured for an extended interview. Cecile discussed the importance of providing coverage for women’s reproductive health, family planning, explains the mission and the opposition it faces from political figures.
Planned parenthood has been in my life since 15. It is becoming our country’s biggest topic for this upcoming presidential election. Planned parenthood has become the opportunity most women never knew they had. It is there for unintended abortion, family planning, breast exams, paps, in general preventive care in its most. The fact that “Penis America” (as John Stewart states) is arguing about its funding is absurd.
This interview not only displayed the strong characteristics of Ms. Richards, but it also provided a great depth of statics so the audience can understand the successful outcome of Planned Parenthood. It was so evident that at the end of the interview John Stewart even asked “Who you running for?”. Throughout the interview she was confident in presenting the opposition against the republic opinions.
Millions of women a year use birth control, I myself in those numbers. The angry fact that these republican penis heads are trying to depict the usage does offend. The last time contraception has been a controversial matter was about 1960’s or 1970’s. Imagine only about forty years ago did it become legal for married couples to use birth control!
John Stewart is great for this interview. Listening and learning this new debate from the head of the group itself does allow America to understand its purpose and fight. How can men even try to excuse birth control as paying for sex? I am a little curious to view Cecile in front of the panel of “Penis America” to make sure she is just as confident but harm sure she will bring it . It was very enjoyable to learn and hear about this topic in a comedic way. I overall will rate this interview a 5 being the highest rating. I’m pretty sure planned parenthood will win at the end, men would not like to wrap it up for just for the sake of not having children.
