“Convinced Yet”

Many people believe Adele 21 was her first album but it wasn’t! Actually I believe 19 was her first before this. Adele is great she is a real singer. A real singer in 2012 doesn’t use auto tunes or even computer made beats. The majority of artist tend to lean towards the computerized side of the music. Regardless Of the artist technique, they seem to be making millions of dollars world wide.
Adele is different. She sings passionately about real life situations. From the moment I heard her smash hit “Rolling In The Deep” I wanted more of this new English singer. I found out later she was around my age and as soon as her album released I physically bought her cd and had it on blast for about a week straight! I felt I was her friend listening to her on the phone about this guy whom she had loved so much and simply played her.
21 keeps its theme throughout all eleven songs. Not once did I lose tempo and forget the purpose of Adele’s tunes. She went from fast upbeat in the beginning to a slow movement towards the end , a roller coaster of love. I like how her beginning songs were fast it opens up your ears hearing what she has to hear, she not hiding anything making her relatable to any age, sex, race doesn’t matter love happens to all people.
Another reason why Adele 21 has been convinced by so many others is for the fact of the style. First listening to her voice some did assume she was big, her voice was too strong to be small framed. I also thought she was of color. When I finally did my research I was like yes! She had broken the cliche and had a cool English accent when she spoke, who could have known that from a song? She uses real live instruments to present her songs to the audience which boost her status in my book to the top of the line. Having a band as an artist is sometimes fading away, then again it would depend on the genre of music. Most bands exist in rock, jazz, country, r & b and soul. I have yet to see a band with a pop, house or rap group.
Adele 21 album will take you on a journey through some past relationships, you know that love you thought would last forever. Even if you never been in a relationship like, you can still see her ups and downs, all for the matter of love respecting her for sharing such a real experience to us strangers.

  1. Tiy,

This is a solid conclusion. I like the transitions you’ve done here like explaining what you thought Adele sounded like and your surprise when finding out it was different. I thought the inclusion of noticing her live instruments was good detail. You can definitely tell the difference in live instrumentation and it’s much better in my opinion. I would only say to throw in some clips in some of your posts and on this final re-state why this album is a 5/5 (you should place it at the end of each post too); other than that, thanks for sharing your thoughts. A much improved job!
